“This mix was inspired by grief, loss, love, and healing. What has been one of the roughest years I’ve experienced, has also been one of the most tender. ‘Paloma en vuelo’ signifies the souls I’ve lost who now watch over me, as well as myself as I continue on in life without them physically here or ever meeting them. The fun songs in between represent how grief is not linear; we have good days and sad days. And the love songs in the middle represent the foundation of support I receive every day from my loving partner. I hope this mix brings you comfort and joy in your day.”

Evy aka Ojitos (she/her/ella) is a speech-language pathologist from McAllen, TX. When she isn’t helping run her family’s restaurant, she enjoys relaxing at home with her fiancé and their pup, Daisy. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, listening to true crime podcasts, and watching a good stand-up special or comedy series.
