Chulita Canela ConSafos - colita de rana

This all-vinyl mix is dedicated to the healing power of music—a magic carpet ride through time, space, and soul. I honor the stories of artists whose music I share through a curated vibe of sonic bliss. Music to me is like the curandera spell my abuela says—sana sana colita de rana. Si no sanas hoy, sanaras mañana. (Heal heal little tail of the frog. If you don’t heal today, you’ll heal tomorrow.) When she was a young pachuca back in the day, she’d carry around a portable record player, jam her tunes and taught gente how to dance. Que chula. I love that CVC is a collection of stories y cultura shared through music—marauding for ears and vibrating good frequencies. So tune in, turn up, get funkafied and boogie down to some healing vibes. ¡Dale!

Today, we feature a mix from one of our very own Chulitas - the mix comes directly from their vinyl collection.

This mix comes directly from CVC Austin, Chulita Canela ConSafos’ vinyl collection.
