Chulita Hija Del Volcan - Treat Her Right

This mix is inspired by wholehearted love and the courage it takes to claim publicly the desire for it. Doing the work of coming from a place of love can feel vulnerable and scary making us take an unconditional leap of faith into the unknown. Power house womxn vocalists have always been my motivation to do all the things like clean the house on the weekends with a hit of bleach in the air or morning motivation to get out of bed and create the conditions to have a fabulous day or getting ready to out with the my best friends manifesting the good vibes to have fun night. I hope this mix energizes you from you toes to your heart to your mind with 80’s vibes. The title of this mix is from Donna Summers “She Works Hard For the Money”... “so you better treat her right”. Womxn are standing up with each other and no longer allowing violence to be tolerated in any of our relationships and at the same time we still hold the capacity to continue to love each other. When a womxn loves you, dont take it for granted, take it as a blessing. When we heal ourselves we heal generations before and after us.
