CVC "LIVES" FOR YOU
We are all living in weird times and gathering in person has been placed on hold for the unforeseeable future all over. Many of CVC upcoming gigs have been cancelled and some of our livelihoods beyond this have been compromised. We are all in a halt with being able to do what we love to do including getting a community together in the same room to dance to our records. This also significantly cuts into the extra income we earn as CVC DJs.
We’re coming together to continue sharing our records with you. Virtually, we've been able to gather an online community of about 40,000 folks. That's about 40,000 folks from all over the world that follow and support us. We can’t thank you enough. Although we can't be side by side on a turntable, we can definitely turn to the digital world to connect to you when we can't physically come together.
Starting Sunday, 3/22, Chulitxs from all over will be going live on our social medias sharing dj sets, playing their favorite records, talking about music and records and more. Stay tuned and make sure to leave some $ tips in their virtual “tip jars” ❤️

From working in radio in high school to her career in touring and concert production, the majority of her life has been all about the music. Raquiqui's eclectic mix is inspired by her familia and her travels Her favorite thing to when traveling is visiting with local record store owners.

Lizzy al Toque
Lizzy al Toque is a Peruvian-American DJ in San Francisco. She loves cumbia and collects peruvian 60s/70s sounds, funk, rap, R&B, new wave and pop synth.

Chulita mare.e.fresh and Chulita hija del volcan
Mare.e.Fresh is a DJ and artist based out of San Jose, CA that combines a mix of cumbia/hiphop/reggaeton/and the occasional banda to create a blend of music aimed at making people dance. Her DJ'ing is centered around taking up and harvesting space in which people can have fun and dance in through music.
Hija Del Volcán is a Bay Area vinyl DJ whose music selection pays homage to her roots that stretch from San José to Colima México and beyond. She plays musica del recuerdo to invoke feelings of healing in time of political, emotional and spiritual uncertainty.

Amanda has been a member of the Chulita Vinyl Club for over a year now. She has a bachelor's degree in Mexican American studies. For now she is a manager at a deli. Aside from collecting vinyl, she also enjoys to collect vhs tapes. she has twin daughters and a supportive boyfriend.
